Innovation on Writing Style of Emily Dickinson’s Poetry
Abstract
Emily Dickinson（1830-1886）is a famous American poetess. In all her life, she has been pursuing unconventionality and individuality, her poetry has the unique expressions. The thesis focuses on analyzing her innovative writing style from three points: innovative language; unique poetic forms; and original writing techniques. Dickinson’s wording is economical but implicative, with irregular syntax; she does not title her poems, which requires the reader to provide a context him/herself, and uses punctuation with a fresh way and achieved wonderful effects; Dickinson is not confined to the traditional rhymes. Instead, she employes assonant rhyme creatively, she is good at using image, and her texture of language is solid with peculiar metaphors and distinct images. Dickinson’s poetry and her innovative writing style influence her fellow poets a lot, and her poetry is a great treasure in American literature.

摘 要
艾米莉•狄金森是美國著名的女詩人，她1生勇于創(chuàng)新，追求個(gè)性，其詩歌表現(xiàn)形式獨(dú)特。該論文從她遣詞造句的創(chuàng)新性，詩歌形式的唯1性，寫作技巧的獨(dú)創(chuàng)性3部分進(jìn)行研究。狄金森用詞簡(jiǎn)約考究，句式奇特；她不給詩歌加標(biāo)題，給讀者提供更多的想象空間，且以全新的方式運(yùn)用標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)達(dá)到了奇妙的效果；狄金森不局限于韻律的規(guī)則，創(chuàng)造性地采用了半韻，她善于運(yùn)用意象，她的詩歌意象鮮明，想象奇特。她的具有創(chuàng)造性的詩歌連同她的嶄新的寫作方式極大地影響了現(xiàn)代詩歌，狄金森的詩歌是美國文學(xué)寶庫中的重要組成部分。
