英文簡歷標準格式

　　英文語法和句式上的問題可以忽略，那屬于英文寫作。這里只說文字設計(typography)，雖然高級的文字設計和內容從來密不可分。

英文簡歷標準格式

　　簡歷是大多數人實踐文字設計的最常見載體。人人都希望簡歷給人留下好印象，因此或多或少會告誡自己“注意排版”。問題在于具體注意些什么。以下十條是最基本的規則，若能做到，你的英文簡歷已經比90%的中國人(包括英文系學生)的規范美觀了。

　　一、標點符號一律使用半角。

　　二、逗號、句號、分號、冒號、感嘆號、問號和它們后面的`字符之間必須留一個半角空格。

　　錯誤：Hi,I'm an entrepreneur.Can you make this app for me for free?Because,you know,I have this brilliant idea but I don't know how to code.

　　正確：Hi, I'm an entrepreneur. Can you make this app for me for free? Because, you know, I have this brilliant idea but I don't know how to code.

　　三、逗號、句號、分號、冒號、感嘆號、問號和它們前面的字符之間不可留任何空格。

　　錯誤：I think our current version is too skeuomorphic ,why don't we ,uh ,make it flatter so that it looks more metro-ish?

　　四、將長串數字分開寫，降低辨識的難度。

　　錯誤：13927396856

　　正確：139 2739 6856 或 139-2739-6856

　　五、書名、雜志名、電影名、音樂專輯名、英文中出現的外文(包括拼音，人名除外)用斜體。

　　錯誤：In 2008, I created this amazing service during my internship at Playboy which is totally LBS avant la lettre.

　　正確：In 2008, I created this amazing service during my internship at Playboy which is totally LBS avant la lettre.

　　六、對于電話區號應用不同的符號區分。

　　錯誤：+86-139-2739-6856

　　正確：(86) 139 2739 6856 或 (86) 139-2739-6856

　　七、對于有序列表，應采用“阿拉伯數字 + 英文句點 + 半角空格”的方式。

　　錯誤：

　　Three words I hate:

　　1.Innovation.

　　2, Leverage.

　　3 Synergy.

　　正確：

　　Three words I hate:

　　3. Synergy.

　　八、括號弧線外要留空格，弧線內不要。

　　錯誤：Byte Press(née Tangcha ) is the best Chinese-language eBook app. Period.

　　正確：Byte Press (née Tangcha) is the best Chinese-language eBook app. Period.

　　九、用彎引號，不要用直(的彎)引號。

　　錯誤："Bazinga!" 'You are pwned!'

　　正確：“Bazinga!” ‘You are pwned!’

　　十、正確使用各種短橫：em dash (—) 是破折號，en dash (–) 用來連接年份、時間，是“到”的意思，hyphen (-)是連字符。

　　錯誤：Glenn Gould (1932-1982) is probably my one and only hero - the person who taught me to think differently well before Steve Jobs.

　　正確：Glenn Gould (1932–1982) is probably my one and only hero — the person who taught me to think differently well before Steve Jobs.

　　注意：

　　1. 若寫作時用兩個 hyphen (--) 代替破折號，Word 等文書處理軟件會自動將其轉為 em dash。鑒于 em dash 輸入不便(Mac 上是 shift + option + -)，這也是英文寫作通用的替代法。

　　2. 破折號(em dash)兩端可各留一半角空格，亦可不留。此乃英美習慣之不同，無對錯之分。惟請在同一份簡歷中保持統一。
